Join Dana Byerlee on this 5-week journey this fall, whether you are totally new to mindfulness, or would like to strengthen your practice in a supportive group.

Simply put, Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a kind non-judgmental lens.

Step-by-step, you will learn to reduce your stress and gain more happiness by:
1. Developing a healthier relationship with your thoughts
2. Developing more balance with your emotions
3. Being more in touch with your body and mind

During this series, we will delve into the fundamental principles of mindfulness, explore the latest scientific research, and most importantly, learn and practice foundational meditations with focus on breath, body, feeling tones, thoughts and emotions.

We will also look at simple ways you can bring mindfulness meditation into your daily life and support each other in establishing a regular practice at home. With this guidance, a comprehensive manual, and downloadable guided meditations, you will leave this course feeling confident in your own independent practice.

This 5-week course class includes lectures, meditations, contemplation practice, and interactive exercises and Q+A to deepen your understanding of the work. Each week you, you will receive a new section of manual and access to downloadable meditation files.

** Don't worry, you don't need to sit on the floor to meditate! Various sitting positions will be offered, and chairs will be available.

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn massage techniques to give attention to the people you care about through healing touch. We will explore techniques to relieve everyday stress-- focusing on upper back, neck, shoulders, hands and feet. We will learn to communicate and listen to our partners.

Guest teacher, Sya Warfield, is a massage artist with over 12 years of experience. She taught massage classes in San Francisco for over 5 years before her recent move to LA. She is the founder of Urban Oasis in San Francisco.

Prenatal Yoga

This class will incorporate prenatal yoga sequences tailored to prepare your mind, body and spirit during this transitional period of pregnancy through delivery and postpartum. We will build strength, explore breath awareness and breathing techniques, as well as take time to truly connect with ourselves and our babies. All levels welcome. (Classes are NOT heated).
