Our teacher Renisha will be launching her new business, Ma’at Mindful Movement, by hosting her first pop up shop at Yoga Bliss! Grab some gifts for Valentine’s Day or for yourself!

Items for sale will include:

  • Himalayan salt lamps
  • Various crystals
  • Sage and incense
  • Bracelets and necklaces

Renisha’s goal is to encourage a way of life that promotes healing oneself using the tools from within as well as those provided by Mother Earth.

Sound therapy and healing has been shown to reduce or eliminate physical pain, stress and anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, and depression, and aid in memory function, concentration, clarity, detoxification, and general wellness. Enjoy!

Women’s Clothing Swap

Support women centered organizations with your donations! Save money by swapping instead of shopping!

Does your wardrobe need some freshening up? Do you have some pieces you love but just never wear anymore? Get a head start on your spring cleaning, konmari your closet, join us for a clothing swap and do some good for others!

Bring your clean clothing, accessories, shoes, bags and crystals (if you’ve got any looking for a new home), “shop” for some new treasures and connect with some lovely women!

No clothes to swap but you still want to make a donation and find some fun outfits? No problem! We suggest making a cash donation of $10 upon entry, which will go directly to Justice Now, a non-profit organization that partners with people in women’s prisons.

All leftover clothing will be donated to a local organization – the downtown women’s center – please notify me of other groups that are in need of donations.

The tentative plan is as follows:
1-1:30 Arrival and Sort Clothes into Designated Piles for Ease of Seeking Out Treasures
1:30-2 Circle Up and Connect
2-3:30 Mingle, Have a Snack and Try on Clothes
3:30-4 Wrap Up The Swap and Pack Up for Donation Drop Off

Restorative Yoga & Massage

This weekend retreat includes five, two-hour yoga sessions to light up your soul and leave you feeling blissful. After arrival on Friday, we’ll flow and unwind from our travels. We are happy to host Stick Yoga classes with Dr. Alison Deliman! Stick Yoga offers a multitude of movements and stretching possibilities. Incorporating the use of 4’, 5’, 6’ and 7’ rattan sticks, you blend your body positions with a staff which creates additional support, balance and leverage. It is adding this additional tool or prop, which is used like a third leg that can enhance greater ease of stretching in gravity.
