Nov. 2021

"Time passes by so quickly. Change happens all around us everyday whether we like it or not. Enjoy the moment while you can. One day it will just be another memory."

Happy November! This time of year always make me think of the holidays and family. I remember big holiday parties that we had when I was growing up. There was always lots of food, my aunts and uncles, and I had so much fun running around and playing with my cousins.

This past weekend, I was lucky to spend some time with family. We haven’t done this as much throughout the pandemic. My parents were in town, along with some of my aunts, uncles, and cousins I grew up with. In our time together, I realized how things have changed and how quickly the years have gone by. Some roles have been reversed, as the children are now the ones worrying about and taking care of their parents.

As we all continue to advance in age without the ability to slow time down, it becomes even more clear to me how important it is to be healthy in body, mind, and spirit. To move our bodies and fuel our bodies with care. To make connections with kindness and compassion. To have purpose and meaning in our lives. At the end of the day, these intangible things will mean far more than anything in the material world.

I’m grateful for yoga and meditation, the way it’s kept me going, and the ways I’ve seen it help others find a sense of well-being. These are valuable tools that can support you through your lifetime, to live with health and vibrancy. We’re here to share them with you, with awesome classes and events coming up:
